well back in 2016 his value was definitely what it was now since he was coming off a 16 goal season so I don't think it's that much of a joke that his name was tossed around in a deal for a 27 year old dman who was considered to be top 5 at his position by some people.


I remember when Nonis was getting ripped by some fans/media back in the day for refusing to trade some combination of the Sedins/Schneider for B.Richards/O.Jokinen, it seems insane to think about now but back then its wasn't a shocking asking price.

Linden and Owner were his bosses so it's not a stretch. These moves were not made and Linden has since left unhappy with the direction the team was going. JB states he's not trading away high picks and to stay the course... where's Linden supporting this? Like I said, gone. I'm more confident in our direction now than ever.

I would probably sign Lee, Hayes, Dzingel over Skinner just because Skinner is horrible defensively.

You could also trade Hutton and Sutter for a RHD instead of signing a 33 year old when next season starts that's coming off a 47 game season. If you combined him and Tanev you might be able to get a full season.

I wasn't saying we were going to get Lee and Dzingel, Saying I would take either one of them over Skinner.

Kevin Hayes wouldn't have to play centre. He could play the wing and be insurance when someone gets injured. Comets don't have any ready centres available.

Legit top pairing RHD are very sought after. A lesser RHD wouldn't be as hard to acquire. Just don't over pay for someone who can't skate.
