Not buying it, Toronto is TSN and Sportsnet universe, I watched a segment after the game last night in which the host stated at the top “who do we blame”, Babcock got a pass but Kadri is the guy shouldering the blame in TO.

Personally I think Babcock is hugely overrated, but back on topic, you are correct they’re pumping up Guerrero and I cannot wait for another epic fail from that city.

It would be fitting to see something happen where he is sidelined for 3 months.

In the future, I'd rather the canucks take big money and bolster their front office and scouting. I'm not sure about these high priced superstar coaches.
I'm of the opinion that the players that the scouts/management bring in matter more than the wielder of the sword.
That $50M Babcock contract looks a bit silly now.... but I'm sure that's the comparable for other big name coaches.

I just read a good piece on Ian Clarke and do think he is a top tier coach. I also still think Green is the right guy for this team at this stage. If he can continue to develop as the team does, it's a bonus. Last thing this team needs is another Torts and I want nothing to do with has been coaches that the old boys keep coming back to.

Guerrero is coming to the Blue jays line up and the Jays have him hyped as the 'top prospect in baseball' so the focus is shifting to Blue Jays. Raptors will most likely choke soon so the coverage will be on a medium level.

I'm willing to bet the Leafs sent the networks a little 'hush money' to deflect away from the Matthews/Babcock rift and some of the other sh!t going on in leaf land.

Sad thing is that with the way he's going about it, FA won't be able to interview enough quality candidates. Trying to keep it on the down low doesn't allow you to bring in several people with different view points.

I hope FA doesn't just bring in a "name" as a way of placating himself/the fanbase.
