Was good to see McAvoy apologize to Anderson and see Anderson acknowledge it. Seems they had a good quick chat. Class act for both of them.
- Thornton22

Yeah I saw that too...Anderson was frustrated with the chances he missed ..good for both of them

After Game 2 Dubinsky talked about how its going to be way louder back in Columbus than the fans in Boston were.

Charlie hit looked like he tried to go through his chest but got a little high at the same time, also didnt help that Anderson had his head straight down.

Agreed. Charlie looked away at last moment , Andersons head was down and he got hit right on the chest n chin.

Probably a fine and a warning, possibly a game.
No intention and wasn't a retaliation hit.

But as was said earlier... who the (frank) knows.

t I don't see a suspension notwithstanding CBC and twitter committing him to a game..I don't think it was an intentional shot to the head...like someone said earlier the fact Anderson came back probably will be a factor. But who knows maybe he will

In a collective 263 minutes playing against Patrice Bergeron..... Tavares, Marner, Panarin, Atkinson, Matthews, Jenner, and Duchene have been on-ice for a combined 4 goals.

That's good right?

Sportsnet in Canada in all time whine mode about about Marchand interviews after the game. Typical media wanting to be the story about themselves...aholes...

It was pretty evident from the late games report that they would've preferred Columbus

Pretty good series, CBJ was tough.
Tough series to officiate, thought they got it right throughout for the most part which translates as an A+ considering what usually happens. Mac got away with one I think, hard to argue that it wasn't an avoidable head shot. Not disgusting but still. Probably get a game. Columbus or any other wieners that watched can't say they didn't get a fair shake.

Great team effort really. Lots of credit to go around up and down the lineup, D, F and G. Tuuka made virtually every save he should have and a lot of one on one staredowns. Came up big.

Not getting any easier, Canes are brimming.

I thought he may get a game for it, said he can't make that hit.
Well hopefully that shuts up the "Bruin's never get suspended" comments.

It won't but it should.

i thought hughson has been pretty decent as was complimentary to several Bruins but that post game scrum with the panel was a (frank)ing disgrace...the outrage was ridicolous..

I can live with a game, even though the head was NOT the principle point of contact. Surprisingly they got it right on the ice.

If I’m Chuck, I still make that hit EVERY time. The contact with the head there was an unintended consequence, and somewhat of a fluke. Don’t change your game over this.

He was OK, though the panel failed to recognize another team was even playing. Lol

I get rooting for the home team but christ even in the last series it was CBJ this n that rarely mentioned the Bruin's.

They got it right because the ref's didn't have a good look at it in real time and didn't want to be sent home like the Vegas / Sharks ref's if they got it wrong.
