It's hard right. The players seem to have no issues with winning 3 games under Mike, but they flat out refuse to win 4 for him.
- walshyleafsfan

I know right, strange! Honestly though, they’re still very porous defensively and Nylander looks like he just doesn’t give a (frank).

Can we look forward to months of this?

Dubas will not be fired. That's reality.

Willie may be traded.

It's not fair to drag Dermott in with Jakie poo. Zaitsev has had his game name tarnished by him, as has Polak. We shouldn't do the same to Travis.
- walshyleafsfan

I like Dermott, hope he's on the team for a long time.

Nylander should have a better season next year.

But he's never gonna perform in the playoffs if he refuses to go in front of the net or accept receiving a bodycheck.

It's been two full playoffs series and he's been exactly the same.

Mike Commodore seems to agree with you.

He seemed very angry.

look at Lilyrin vs Sandin draft year and DY +1

Sandin projects to be and NHL player..not much doubt.

Honestly I thought that Willie looked just fine the last couple of games, with the exception that he might as well have been playing 5v3 because Marleau and Brown were like tits on a (frank)ing bull out there. They should have switched wingers with the fourth line as Willie between Ennis and Moore would have been so much (frank)ing better.

For sure.

Sandin's pick is looking great right now for the Leafs.

He’ll have a better season in a different uniform. Cap will dictate, one would think, there’s going to be changes.

Holy Mackinaw., even Johnny Toronto couldn't bring home the cup. Don't worry Leaf fans I hear that 53 years is a lucky number.

Mike Augello: Leafs season ends with another Game 7 disappointment in Boston
- mikeinbuffalo

Leafs clearly have major issues. There is obviously big time problems in the room. Matthews was pretty invisible all series, wouldn’t be surprised if he tells management either he goes or Babcock goes. Marner had a couple good games then was a disappearing act. Nylander contract now looking like a giant overpayment. Kadri is dirty and incapable of playing within the rules. Needs to be some massive changes.

Good series folks. Worthy of a Conference Final as opposed to a Round 1 but...
- MrBeanTown

I don't agree at all. We utterly gifted you the series repeatedly at key times throughout.

It's horrible to say, but this team continually found ways to lose, some new, and some - incredibly, almost unbelievably - exactly the same as last year.

Gotta give French credit here, wasn't he the one who told us about Andersson a few years ago, before he was in the NHL?

a lot to digest here.

Should they just fold the franchise? Seems like they should.

thanks, i look forward to your thoughtful unbiased rational follow up.
