I dunno man, we didn't beat the Caps in the regular season either.
Canes are all about the forecheck and throwing pucks at the net from everywhere to try and get deflections and rebounds.
Isles collapse hard and try to counterpunch.

Not sure which of the two teams last night would have been a better match for the Isles, but I'm glad the Canes won so the Isles have home ice. Also, while not a major, series-changing factor, I gotta think this works out a little better with Boychuk out and Hickey in. Hickey getting caught out there and being knocked silly back and forth between Wilson and Ovi is not something I'd want to see every other night. Boychuk's better suited for that kind of trench warfare.
