I thought Pavelski actually died. He didn't move and thena puddle of blood just started to form. I was like oh know. I also thought incidental contact from
Stastny was worse than the cross check.

I think it’s the injury that gave them a major. It was a cross check two minutes, then Stastny part was probably more accidental then anything. The players will see it after the game but it’s sure as hell galvanized them

Definitely not a major, it's crazy what this league reviews and what it doesn't and they should review major penalties just to make sure

but, can Vegas kill even a second of the damn penalty?

I know Eakin is a penalty killer for them but geeeeeeeeeez

maybe spend some $$$ on some penalty killing

Watched the hit several times. The initial contact was to the chest, the blood was drawn when he hit the ice after the incidental contact from Stastny. I agree that I don't see how and why that should have been a five-minute major, unless the refs viewed the blood was due to the contact as that caused Pavelski to hit the ice.

But holy woof on the penalty kill.

Sharks moving on is very good for hockey. This team has been in it for the past 20 years with nothing to show.. I'm pulling for them now
