No they didnt. They had that game inthe bag a freak accident/major penelty became a rallying point. For sure you need a little something out of depth guys but inthe end it was the top players on esch team that decided that series.

It was a questionable call but really the refs got it close to right...the blood pushed them over the edge for the 5 min call. regardless it was a full on crosscheck by Eakin and Stasny taking out his legs so really it's 4 min in penalties anyways...or a 5 on 3 as Eakin and Stasny should have both been heading to the box.

Anyways I could see two goals on the PP but 4? VGK could have locked them down on the PP it was actually kind of a good ol fashioned choke by VGK. Tough for me to fully blame the refs for that one. Many said last night on the sports broadcasts that the call cost them the game but come on...4 goals on a 5 min PP really? lol
