Right..your eye test vs stats should definitely be considered cannon when talking about the Flyers.

You undervalue Giroux, thankfully no one with any significance in the Flyers org does.

Also just to know that Im not being snarky for snarks sake..
Im over the Flyers currently and their inability to make the playoffs let alone with a series. Im also over how they have become the softest team ever .. Embarrassing in every way,.

Well when i say bc they sign certain players, bring in certain front office executives and coaches that it will result in arguably the worst (frank)ing era of the franchise ‘s history then said (frank)ing era happens, then yea smart guy i think some weight should be given to what i say. It’s amusing how some of you drink the kool aid and are so full of yourselves. The guy ain’t franchise player and if they were gonna be “patient” and rebuild they should have just traded him and gotten value when they could have to reinforce their notion of building for the future.

Unbelievable....closest to this level of playoff disappointment I can think of is Detroit losing to essentially still an expansion team in SJ back in 94.

Tampa will have to make changes ...

Trade value has to be down for their players.

JOHNSON
JT Miller
Who else will they try to move

I mean they still owned the league in the regular season. I imagine it will be less player movement and more an assist coach or two scapegoated.

Columbus went all in at the deadline. Tampa didn't make any moves. Tampa top two defenders got hurt and they had no one to replace them...

You're continuing to make ridiculous post after ridiculous post. You state he's not a franchise player. He has scored 187 points in the last 164 games he has played. He's something like in the top 5 in points in the NHL in the last decade. He currently sits 2nd all time in the Flyers franchise in assists. He's currently 4th all time in the franchise in points and is likely going to finish 2nd when all is said and done. To say he isn't a franchise player is simply absurd.

Getting out of this rut is gonna require this organization to make some hard choices. Developing young talent is great but you need the right coaches, hey at least they brought in a guy with a good track record. I probably would’ve went with a sutter or just kept gordon. They really need to think hard about who they make the face of the franchise because yea, leadership matters and so does your team’s culture. Right now ours is dog-poop. Soft and stinky.

I hope the Flyers players were watching this series. This could have been them catching Tampa with their pants down.

So what does he need to at least win a round in the playoffs? The ‘84 oilers?
