They have to win the next game. Rittich wasn't great down the stretch and has struggled whenever he's been made the number one. Tonight was a disaster, and they're not going to trust Rittich next game with the season on the line. Rather throw him to the wolves when it doesn't matter than throw him to the wolves when it does.

If he had played the third tonight, it would have at least given him some playoff time, and could potentially have given Peters the confidence in him to give him a start.

The Flames were never going to win this game. There's absolutely nothing positive that's going to come from Smith playing the third.

There's the Hunk we all know and love.

Series isn't over yet and the Flames can play way better than this. I know a lot of fans have to act like the season is over after every loss but nobody's won 4 games yet.

This was a rough game but the Flames are much better than they played tonight. Series is far from over.

Time to take some of the big slow guys out. I'd like to see Valimaki & Dube dress next game.
