him, Snakes or Rielly - but Marner is probably the best option. Maybe get him signed for 500k less per if he want to wear the "C" |

It would give the leafs a legit chance at a cup. Like it wouldnt really be a longshot. |

Couple thoughts since everyone is waiting for me to chime in.
The legend of Mitch Marner grew a bit more last night, this is going to be fun to watch.
Zietsev has looked better, but he still has those bad clearing attempts that get the leafs trapped for stretches. Pairing him with Muzzin imo is masking some of the bad plays. Muzzin has been better overall than I thought when he came up as a trade option in Jan
Freddy has been Freddy and thats what the Leafs need to win this series - senstroll
About time! I waited up all night to hear from you...
Agreed on Z: I think he grew a few inches with Muzzin and considering those guys are getting hard matches against Bergeron's line, I think they're doing better than ok.
Rielly has also been a lot less aggressive offensively, which helps Hainsey a lot. |

glad to see the Leafs hang on and win this game.
Can they repeat it on Wednesday? Well I hope so.

They were chirping bruins in 5 and getting golf carts ready before the game.
I didnt even wait for the game to finish..... waiting for a game to finish is bs. Youve gotta have the balls to chirp them back mid game. It can get you in trouble if they give up the lead. But its so much better. They refused to reply mid game. Because they knew they would lose. Didnt have the confidence to chirp back. |

I've been a Marner far since before he was drafted.
But the C is for Hyman or Tavares. |

Zaitsev made an excellent play last night clearing the net on a possible high danger scoring chance. Honestly, he's been way better this playoffs then the whole year which has been suprising IMO.
Good for him. |

Pasternak spent a lot time on ice as he was knocked down a few times last night.

was that the cross check to the back in the last few seconds?
pretty sure it was him that flattened a Bruin to stop a chance in front |

I mean, sure, I guess, but God. Columbus is literally dusting the top team with ease. It's sort of hard to look past them at the moment!
I guess you can see going into today that if Tampa can get their sh!t together, they are about the only team I see coming back from 3-0. |

Hyman??? - prock
yup.
always plays well.
respected.
well spoken.
and he's a key piece to this team.
intelligent.
tavares or rielly would be good options as well, but quite a bit more boring options.
hyman is a role model in my opinion - and a great fit for most of the community events, press, links to teammates and general representation of the leafs' organization.

I wonder if this is intentional, specifically target Pastaguy when he touches the puck
could be or he is just ugly and very hittable |

Yup. Tell everyone that they'll be announcing the captain on the first day of training camp.
If mitch wants it, he can't hold out. |

Nylander for who in the off-season?
there must be teams that like his advanced stats (Arizona?) and is willing to take the gamble on him - trading away another top6 few. |

That was the play, it wasnt really a cross check though(unless I just blocked that out of my mind ). I thought it was a solid play. The leafs could use more of that. |

depends on what coming back to the Leafs.
A top pairing RHD which the Leafs can control for the next 6 years would be nice but not many teams are trading those type of players. |
