Stayed up late and saw Evander fight Reaves last night, it was a pretty good one. Reaves got him to throw down after a lengthy bout of trash talking between their benches while the hats from Stone's trick were cleared from the ice. You could hear them in the background on the broadcast, and the announcer between the benches was entertained by it all. Those two will likely scrap again. When their fourth lines go head to head it's like a demolition derby for the whole shift. That series is the best one going.

lol, no seve only put 1 in the water on 15
norman doubled 10 to give it away and bogeyed 18
he did birdie 14, 15, 16 and 17 but despite a great shot on 17 from the crap, flew his approach into the stands on 18

all jokes aside, I was almost as impressed with Jack in 98, finishing tied for 6th at 58 years old

You guys are forgetting the most impressive golf performance of all time Imho: Tom Watson coming within one bad bounce on the 72nd hole of winning the British Open at, I think, 58. I'm not too proud to say I cried that day.

He’ll have as much of an impact as Matthews the rest of the way going forward.

An AHL assistant for 4 years and HC for years. Man, that is a THIN resume to be coaching an NHL Team. And he hasn't even accomplished anything yet with that thin resume. If I am Botts, I am not putting placing a bet on another rookie NHL coach. I would be going for experience.

Leave Taylor in Rochester. He needs to prove himself. If Botts is going AHL, hire either the Marlies or Crunch guys. And bring in some really strong assistants to support him. Not Bill Hajt's son.

I think when jbotts , greely and the other gm sit down, Taylor's name will keep coming up.

Ex sabre
Ex amerk
Ex penguin ahl coach

47 or 48 years old, same as pretty much every poster on here.

Another 1st time nhl coach? Maybe?

3 perfect reasons why i dont want him to be the next coach here. Keep him in rochester doin his thing. Why is it so much to ask for a veteran coach with winning games on his resume? We have missed on 2 so far.

No more former sabres, and stop dipping your toe into the pittsburgh pool of poop.

What we want vs. What seems likely to happen

I would think there is a better option?

My point is: jbotts is making the decision

Not you or me.

Taylor fits what he's looking for, minus the nhl experience

Wasn't there a tweet that the Sabres won't be interviewing him for the job?

Something about he and Lindy won't be considered

I could be wrong

A hippo is an elephant, minus the trunk.

It's really the most important thing, in each case.

I saw a tweet saying Taylor has not been contacted about the job; some reporter asked him.

I've been out of state for a week.

Last I knew, our "insider" told me and every other poster that he was right, and the Sabres were hiring mckellen.

Actually he mentioned quite a few times.

Didnt hear that ruff and Taylor were left off the list

The elephant do not pay attention to hippos and with no worries is crossong the water. The common hippopotamus, or hippo, is a large, mostly herbivorous mammal in sub-Saharan Africa, and one of only two extant species in the family Hippopotamidae, the other being the pygmy hippopotamus.
