How about talking about getting some guys tat can add team toughness. Based on what I’m seeing in the playoff series the rangers wouldn’t stand a chance the way they are designed right now.

I think Quinn has addressed that to a degree. Lemeuix Smith Kreider TonyD Vesey all aren’t afraid to drop them but I think we could still add a bit. For all that said it wasn’t AV as to why we were so soft, I got news for u.......it was. Definitely see more pushback this year from last.

On Fox, I think he would be a great addition but we need to address getting a shutdown guy on the blue line. Will Hajek or Lindgren be that guy? The future of the blue line could be fun though in a few years.

Hajek 6’2 TonyD 5’11
Miller 6’3 Fox 5’10
Lindgren 6’ Lundkvist 5’11

My biggest concern is the size. No one on the right side would be above 5’11

The Rangers were 2nd in league in fighting majors this season. By no means are we the Broadway Bullies, but team is definitely tougher than in the past.

Ellis and Webber? Webber is also 200+ lbs at 5’11. TonyD Fox and Lundkvist are all 180 lbs.

Ok but the tallest guy on the Preds blue line is 6'4. Size is ok. But if it lacks skill...

I’m not saying it’s terrible, but it’s something to think about. All 3 guys on the right side would be 5’10 180 lbs.

So it's impossible 19 year old Nils Lundkvist adds any muscle to him from now until he decides to stop playing hockey?

True. I didn't expect him to be the best player through 2 and half games of this series. Keep an eye on the 3rd period for some of us. Game of Thrones starts in 39 minutes.

Might be a bad example. Nils look like he is going to be slight of frame his whole career. Which is fine, because they drafted him for his positioning, skating and offense. Miller will be a beast

So yes is the answer? Add Lundkvist to the pile. #Busts

He’s a smaller framed guy. He might gain weight or stay the same which is fine. It just might be something to think about having all 3 guys on the right side under 6 feet and all being 180 lbs.

I wish I could, forever.

Doesn't matter. Just hope St.Louis keeps winning. And (frank) Tampa bat right to hell.

You can have guys like that, he could be a good player at his size. Just not sure having all 3 guys on the right side that size is the best idea.

My point is, I don't care about size. As long as they can skate, are good on D and have some offense to their game I'm cool with it. Miller will be the odd defenseman who can skate have some offense and crush people

I jinxed Tampa
