I wonder if that one writer who picked Nashville is just trolling us. Hope they're right, but after watching this team tread water for a lot of this season, I don't see how anyone whose paid close attention to the team, wouldn't consider picking them a reach. I'm expecting them to bow out in the second round, so I'm just going to sit back, enjoy the games and hope I'm wrong. Anything can happen in the playoffs. Maybe Pekka or Saros gets extremely hot and steal a series or two. Maybe Turris and company finally pull their heads out of each other's butts and they can score enough to hang with teams it felt like they couldn't a month or two ago. I'm cautiously optimistic for the first time in a while. My main concern is if the Preds can score enough to compensate for the defensive gaffs and inconsistency that have plagued them all season.
