I couldn't imagine the Leafs getting even one good goal after a review, nevermind three Always nice when the Canucks lose, and looking forward to following Nashville through the playoffs

They can't, just a gaff by Paul. He probably thought the Stars had a couple more points then they do.

Preds couldn't have asked for a better situation going into Saturday. Everything they needed to happen happened, and now all they have to do on Saturday is win. It would be just like the Preds this season to tease us by winning last night, and laying an egg on Saturday just to wind up in third, but at least they have a chance. They need to treat this last game like a playoff game. Winning the Central would be nice, but I'm more interested in the advantages finishing second overall brings from a Predators perspective. The Hawks aren't going to go down quietly, but if the Preds don't show up and handle a non-playoff team in a game with so much on the line, how can anyone expect them to win four against the best teams in the West?

I think it's absolutely amazing that the Preds can win the division with a win against the Hawks. Did not see this scenario coming. But will they? I'm sure Chicago would LOVE to play spoiler after the past few years, and the Preds are becoming famous for slow starts at home.

Crazy end of the season for sure.

I moved down to Alabama and still for a few years kept my season tix then had to give them up. I still bought tix to games each year even once this year but it seems I'm magically blocked from buying playoff tickets for the first time this year because I'm not in one of 5 states apparently (alabama is on the list and I can see all the games on Fox Sports networks). I went thru the verification process and they sure could sell me a ticket during the regular season. The presale has been running since Monday and there are still plenty of tix left. SMH,
I guess I should think them for saving me the money I would spend coming back home for a few days and I will stick to the tv watching. They are growing their fan base but I wonder how a new fan would feel about this. They live in a nearby state (closer to Nashville than some people in the corners of Tennessee) and are getting excited following the team so they decide lets experience our first playoff game but oops nah nah a boo boo you can't buy a ticket. How quickly will these new fans lose interest if your keeping them from also experiencing live playoff games. You know because you had no problem selling them a regular season ticket but now your not good enough!

So you'll lose interest in the team because you can't get tickets? I haven't been to a game in two years, that doesn't mean I can't be fan. Jeez.

I didn't read in his statement that he would lose interest in the team. Rather, he was lamenting the fact that he's blocked out of buying tickets and that new fans might lose interest if the are blocked from buying game-day tickets.

I get what the Preds are trying to do with the ticket restrictions and also acknowledge their right to do so. However, I feel they carry it too far too often. What happens when a probable fall from their recent success occurs? Most (all?) teams in this age of parity are going to go through a slump and/or restructuring to one degree or another. And what happens when the next economic slowdown hits? That's a given at some point no matter policies or politics. And have you seen the prices for playoff tickets this year? While the playoff prices for one's regular seats are not out of line, extra tickets, even for full season ticket holders, are quite high.

The fact that this team can win the division absent of any power play success for the entire season is pretty incredible.

They're taking advantage of a popular team, no surprises. Good for them. There's a robust secondary market, if you wanted to go, you could.

But you will pay for it. When you combine tickets with parking and concessions, it's expensive. I know huge fans that pass because of the cost of taking a family.

Forsberg’s efforts in getting the puck to Joey in the last seconds was amazing. Play of the game.
