well lets not pretend the "mathematics" are still relevant. The Wild were esentially eliminated yesterday... there's a better chance Trump convinces the demoncrats to pass his "wall " bill then the Wild have to get into the post season.

He had a republican controlled house and senate for 2 years, why didn't he try it then??
And he still has a republican controlled senate, so how is it the Democrats fault? The real reason he can't pass his wall bill is because he can't even get his own party behind it. And no wonder why, his dumb wall a ridiculously antiquated idea that's more of a political farce than anything.

They didn't "ban guns"?? Umm..
That's because they didn't try? Lol
Proud left-leaning multiple gun owner here and there are many more. There's plenty of pictures of Obama the president trying out rifles if you care to look.
Thing is, they're might be fringe lefties that want to ban guns, but that's a tiny percentage.
But sure enough, every election: "derp derp! (Insert democrat name here) iz gunna take are gunz derp!!!

Yep the wall will probably get built, and by then we'll have easily accessible drones that can literally pick a person up and drop them on the other side.
But even without drones, ask China how great walls work. (They don't.)

Maybe I am being too optimistic but if Colorado loses tonight in Stl. and Wild continue their winning streak this season against the Jets this year who will be playing the back half of a back to back, that puts them 2 points back with 2 to play. Do we know who owns the tie-breakers?

At least it was back to hockey talk, instead of politics. I hope the Wild do win tonight, just because I can't stand watching the games the lose. It would be really nice if the Wild won out for the rest of the season, still don't make the playoffs and miraculously win the lotto. That might even make MnMild smile, and say "Hey, it's actually warm in Duluth".

That just had to happen right after I posted that.

I told my receptionist to make it stop, and it did. I will now refer to her as my office manager, as she must have some unknown powers if she can control the weather.

Last nights game was a fun one to watch. I wonder why the Wild can play like that more often. I'm sure BB wonders the same thing. I wonder if Parise, who really appears to be the heart and soul of this team, should play like 4 games, then miss a game or 2, then come back and play 4 more games....rinse and repeat. Seems like the Wild play a couple of good games whenever he comes back.

Should add....if the Wild can lose the next 2 games, and Chicago, Vancouver and Philly can win out, Wild can get the 9th slot spot for the draft lottery, which should improve their chances on pretty decent pick. If the Wild do end up in the top 10 for the draft, who would you like to see drafted?

the one positive of the season is a higher draft pick. hopefully fenton hits on a guy. as far as names, i dont know much about the kids in this draft class (or any really), but i do know this team NEEDS to get a young center with a top line ceiling, whether it be through a trade or the draft.

Been running through some mock drafts out there and (I find this soooo funny) that most of them have had the Wild drafting a left handed dman. JUST WHAT THE WILD NEED!
