I like your enthusiasm MNHawk, but those 5 games were played with quite a different roster. I have no doubt the Wild could go in to Vegas and come away with a win under normal circumstances, but without Parise, Koivu and Dumba, this team has little chance... They shouldn't be in the position they are right now. If they had won even 2 or 3 of the games they should have won over the last several weeks, they wouldn't be on the outside looking in. Those losses to teams like Philly, NJ, Detroit, Florida including 2 losses to the lowly Ducks are what sealed this squads fate.

Wow, too bad they couldn't have played with as much desperation over the past few games as they did last night...

Very true statements Gump. Through the course of a season, every team, even the best teams, have a handful of those games that drive fans crazy. Just look at Tampa this year. The Wild go in there and I win. By a shut out if memory serves. And they I believe have the best home record in the league.

Also true about last nights game making tomorrows game even more important. Colorado has a pretty tough schedule remaining. Getting 2 points tomorrow would be HUGE. Wild have completely owned the Jets so this season. Anything can happen but it starts with 2 points tomorrow.
