Great post Todd! A 1-2 punch of Hischier and either Krebs or Dach down the middle would be extremely dangerous a couple of years down the road. Mix in Boqvist, Davies, and a couple other pieces and this Devils team looks way different.

As a guy who wanted Nolan Patrick over Nico Hischer I'll just keep my mouth shut as to who we should take. I thought a strong Canadian power forward was a better choice then some skinny kid from Europe....

That said, it sounds like regardless of how the lottery goes the Devils should be able to find themselves a high quality prospect.

I'd love for us to slide down to 3rd worst in the league standings.

Great post Todd. Everything I’ve seen from Cozens has left me slightly underwhelmed as well, while Dach seems much more imposing. Which is why I’ve been confused to see Cozens constantly ranked over Dach everywhere I look... people seem to knock Kirby for his skating but from what I’ve seen it’s fine.

I’d probably take Krebs, Dach and Bryam before Cozens.

Awesome post, great read! Can't wait for more of them as we get past the lottery and closer to the draft! I think you've turned me off of Cozens and i may not like it if we pick him anymore. I think i'd prefer a Dach/Krebs/Byram or even Zegras/Turcotte over him now. A ton of updated rankings i've been seeing are starting to put Dach ahead of Cozens now, and we need a savvy and creative #2 behind Nico

Hey Todd,
Sabres fan here...hoping the Sabres slide into the top 4.
Sabres need a 1RW to slot in with Eichel, could Cozens be that guy?
I am hoping so given that Eichel and Skinner (hoping he resigns) are very effective with zone entries, so no worry there. My estimation is they need a guy to bury the biscuit and and strong board work to that line, to bring some physicality.
