Well despite last nights outcome, i thought they out played Nashville for the most part and should have come away with 2 points. Taking away a well fought game but no points gives them no saving grace.

Sooooo many chances over the last month to solidify a place in the post season squandered is the moral of last nights defeat.

Had they won even half the games they should have they'd have absolutely no worries at this point.

Arrrgh!!! I want this season over with now. I want the off-season movement to start tomorrow. Even if the Wild made the playoffs this year, this team will not do anything. So, I want to see the changes that Fenton is going to be doing now. I hope it's as exciting as Christmas morning when I was like 8 years old. I really think that Fenton is gonna have to do something big to energize the fan base now. There are those of us who will follow/cheer on/complain about the Wild pretty much no matter what. But those ticket sales and such rely heavily on the casual fan for a majority of it. So I think Fenton has started his touches, but needs to score a hat trick during this off-season.

I like Jason Zucker, great guy, pretty decent but very streaky player, but I really hope he is dealt in the off season.

He could possibly be the worst speed forward in the league when it comes to puck handling and passing... and flubbing.

Zucker has a ton of speed, high hockey IQ, but just doesn't have the skill side of the equation. It's unfortunate, but I think he should garner a fairly high pick or prospect, espeically if he is packaged in some kind of deal.

Personally I think they should move spurgeon to wing. I really like his hockey IQ, his grit and his skill, it's just too bad he's so small. He could be one of the top D men in the league if he were about 6 inches taller and about 40 pounds heavier.

But with that said, i'd really like to see what he could do on offense. Guy has a nose for the net on D, i'm guessing he would be even better as a winger.

Trade 'em both. The Wild struggle too much in regards to hitting open nets, so they need to get snipers on the roster. With Dumba back next year, I think that makes Spurgeon tradable. And I agree, Zucker SHOULD get something good back. I won't go over the trade scenarios that I would like to see, as I am pretty sure ya'll are sick of reading the same thing over and over every week from me. Let's just hope that Fenton DOES do something major this off-season.

With the upcoming cap space and tradable assets like these two the team really could look quite different come mid-July.
