Wow, terrible article. Please don’t write about the Devils any longer.

The players didn’t want to be injured, the team was hoping for success for a second season in a row, but here we are preparing for next season. We’d take playoffs over any draft pick Buffoon!

Weren’t there any teams lower in the standings to pick on?

I knew right away this wasn't Todd. He would never be so negative.

What gave it away? The writer’s name given directly below the title at the very start of the blog? But yes I agree, quite the downer viewpoint

It's as if a team has never had a bad year before

Relax Devils fans - you will get another good pick this year.

Unlike our team which decided that they were a playoff team after our coaching change in November and has proceeded to both likely miss the playoffs and draft way further down than they could have.

What is this garbage? Not really sure what your angle was other than to insult the team. Piss off.

One could argue that you should be as critical of your own writing as you are of Damon Severson.

That was atrocious.

Devils want a top 4 pick. If they end up 5 or below, risk greatly increases for a lost year development-wise.

Little extreme. This team is not in the Garbage Bowels of the hockey world. Ottowa is. NJ has the most recent recipient of the Hart Trophy, a quality 1st overall Centre in Nico, this years draft prospect, Ty Smith, a good looking goalie duo, and a great young D core. If Mojo retrurns, and we add either a quality RW or C in free agency (depending on Kakko/Hughes), and we are a playoff team again.

Pass on Mojo... too streaky, injury prone and would be a waste of a long term contract that he'll probably be healthy for only half of.

But I agree we are prob one top prospect from be in playoffs consistently.

Your assessment of Mojo is fair. But he will likely want back on NJ, and is a true top 6 player. He can play LW or C, and when healthy (the big thing), is a quality 200' player. This team desperately needs top 6 forwards (about 3 more would be great), and Mojo would be an easy add. No point trading assets away for anyone unless they will be a major upgrade.
