Philly owns this team cause the isles are soft. I do expect them to be on their game as Trotz had to call them out |

They'll probably come out flying the first few shifts. The question is whether they will keep it up all game or revert to the effort of the last few games. |

Someone pointed out that the only person that they took out of the lineup was the only one that had any push-back in the last game
Unfathomable that Ladd is playing again |

They were out for warm ups before the Bruins game too. At least Boychuk was. |

I was just going to write that...
For the record, I absolutely support taking Hickey out for Boychuk. But...to call out the team because no one stepped up after Mayfield got run, and then taking out the one guy who finally responded in some way while leaving in the guy who stood right there and watched, kind of makes that call out ring a bit hollow.
I'm sure there's a lot more going on behind the scenes as far as what was said and all that, but actions speak louder than words in the end, and there's Ladd taking his regular shift... |

I'm in agreement that Boychuk should be in over Hickey. Hickey's played mostly poor lately. It's just funny that after all the talk and implications from Trotz after the last game, the one guy that comes out is the only one that stood up and did anything
I don't buy for one, single second that Ladd has more to contribute to this lineup than Dal Colle. Not one bit. |

I was hoping to see Johnston have a "talk" with Voracek. |

Usually when I get mad about something, the exact opposite ends up happening, so maybe the Isles explode for like 8 goals today
But I'm not real crazy about marching out the same exact forwards that haven't scored in two straight games. If Dal Colle can't draw in after these last two games, you gotta wonder what it would take! |

Yeah, I was thinking that. On the other hand, losing a d-man to a 5-minute fighting major is not ideal, unless they're starting 7 d-men. |

He's upstate, things are different. I went to school in Albany and most nights our MSG aired Sabres games over Islander games. It's a totally different programming region. |

If they're focused on beating up Voracek they're morons. They need to win the game. Crush him clean if he's eligible to get hit, but otherwise they need to just worry about putting a puck in the net first. |
