I really think Skinner's defensive game is not as bad as a lot of the posters here make it out to be. Yeah, he floats at the point in his own zone - HE IS SUPPOSED TO.

I have seen him rush back numerous times this season when one of our idiot defensemen (BOGO, Risto, Scandella) shoots the puck into the other teams skates at the blue line and causes an odd-man rush.

Yeah he traditionally hasn't racked up the assists but he's actually been very consistent with about 25 assists a season - playing with better linemates and a #1 center in a coaching system that doesn't suck should inflate his assists past 30 for the next few years. If we pay 8 million for a 30/30 guy, I ain't mad.

Jack has disappointed me more than any Sabres player this season.

Where's that moron talking about Skinner quitting? Eichel is the guiltier party. If he is content scoring 25 a year, that ain't sniping in my opinion.

regarding 6K in the fall

If Luukkonen outshines Hutton and Ullmark, he should be given every opportunity to make the big club

For those that say he is too young, look at Barrasso and Murray

For those that say goalies look great for a flash and then fizzle, look at the coach and the D. Crawford was an all star a few years ago, what changed the Hawk roster, not him. Another example is Lehner, looked like an ECHL goalie for us, give him a decent coach and decent D men and he is a vezina finalist 12 months later.

The amount of elite goalies today can be counted on 1 hand, with fingers to spare

The gap between goalie 4 and goalie 24 is not the goalie performance, but rather the team in front of him

It's time this fall to ice the BEST 18 skaters in the organization with the big club and have the 2 best goalies in the system wearing the blue and gold

enough of excuses, and patience, and development

any kid is gonna learn a hell of a lot more practicing with the big club then playing along side kevin porter or tennyson in rochester or some 17 year old in an ontario hockey league

time to make the statement now that if you belong here and work hard you get a spot, if you go through the motions, GET THE HELL OUT OF TOWN

His body language sucks. I like that he is a d!ck head. But he needs to back it up and become a top-10 player next year or he's the reason his career is wasting in Buffalo.

Loved his response to the suspension. Hated his effort when he came back. He pouts too much.

Nylander becoming the player that we thought he’d be when we selected him 8th overall would mean one less top 6 position to fill or at the very least one less top 9 position to fill.
