Well, at least they skated with the Isles. As soon as I saw it was Staal, Parise and Suter to start the overtime, I turned the game off. I understand what BB was trying to do there, have his vets lead by example. But those 3 just cannot skate with the Isles in 3 on 3. I think BB knows the axe is falling towards the chopping block now as well. Sadly, he has been a lame duck coach from the season's beginning. IF/when Fenton does let BB go (I don't think he should), at least try to make a play for Quenneville. If this truly is not a rebuild and just a quick reload, the Wild will need a veteran HC...and that's one of the reasons I believe BB should be kept after this season.
I guarantee one thing going forward. If the Wild have anymore overtime games, you will see more youth than vets starting the overtime.
