Not to beat a dead horse, but was Zacha overrated for his draft spot or just didnt pan out. Im comparing him to Matt tkachuk, same age, similar body and draft spot but Matthew has been playing lights out since joining the team.

Comparing x overall from different years is mundane thinking, especially when you're talking about high firsts, which can wildly vary from year to year.

It'd be like comparing Connor McDavid to Nail Yakupov and asking where Edmonton went so wrong one year and so right the other.

Zacha's still a project nevertheless. We'll see where he is in three years.

We beat Edmonton and Vancouver. That was us hot.

Hope to cool off. I think realistically we can dive down to 3rd worst but most likely to finish where we are.

This roster is mainly the bottom 6 Bing forwards..... Tank is on! 10-24 road record doesnt hurt either.

THREE? I'm giving him 2 more MAX. Really next year should be THE year already. He's made SMALL improvements year to year, but nothing that screams 2nd line peak.

I still think having Elias for 1 season would've been big for his development as a young kid. But I also know I'm over-hyping the language/idol thing for the sake of dreaming of Zacha becoming a Czech Olympian.

Nice to see the goalies and defense playing better, but all these kids playing their desperate balls off to look good in the NHL isn't helping the tank. Then Zajac and Coleman thinking their Messier and Sakic (idk why I picked those 2.. lol)

Pietila and Tangradi look like they shouldn’t be up. The other guys aren’t bad. Rooney is everywhere.

Again, the team we are putting out is putrid....but hungry. We need a team that does not care. Which sucks. But is kind of interesting as well. Back in 93 we sucked but strived to be better. Problem is the NHL has changed and grit does not matter as much as it used to. Need skill through high picks in the draft to survive in the long run.

I agree. Those 2 stand out as being guys I wouldn't even bother to have back in the A. gotta make room for new blood.

Sad sad team. Wishing for losses to get a higher pick. That should convince hall to stay on for 8 more years in mickey mouse's playground. Prob for the best as he cant stay healthy and cant backcheck. We thank you for larrson.
