Sticking to his word, revamping the D.
Writing on the wall for Pouliot. Think he makes a trade or two as well? Edler, Tanev, Hutton, Stetch, Biega, Pouliot, Sautner, Schenn, Bresbois, Teves, Hughes.... that's 11, plus potentially 1 more NCAA - NewYorkNuck
When Edler - Tanev are gone we can revamp the D fully.
Until then it's another 50 game season from each.

I'm hoping they trade Tanev by next TDL. By the end of next season having 3 new regulars would be a revamp I think – keeping Edler, and the improved Hutton and Stetch. |

Nico Sturm's team Clarkson is still in the playoffs.

Wilkins has shown improved scoring prowess over the course of his career with the Friars, but is the type of player that can play a fast, heavy 200-foot style of game that is effective even if he isn’t scoring.
Brandon Tanev/ Roussel type player. (Tanev and Wilkins both played at Providence)
. Nico Sturm, Center, Junior(‘95), Clarkson
Sturm has put up decent scoring numbers as the top line center for Clarkson, but what really impresses scouts is the detail-oriented 200-foot game that he plays.
As a 6’3” center, he has potential to be the consummate third or fourth line NHL center that plays a grinding defensive game and does all the little things to make his team better in the mold of a Jay Beagle.

I can’t believe the talk around players who at best will become the next Tyler Bozak. |

It is the end of season winning streak time, as is the case every lost season when we approach the bottom.
Canucks 4-2, win 6 of next 8. - Reubenkincade
Didn’t they lose like 16 in a row down the stretch the year we drafted Petey? They were 29th and lost three spots to NJ/Philly/Dalas |

tyler bozak was an amazing pick up for the leafs. a free agent player that slid up and down their lineup and chipped in 30-50 points a year.
that would be an amazing find. almost equivalent to a 2nd-3rd round draft pick who developed correctly in his draft +2-3years.

I think the only way to draft top 3 comes in the form of the lottery balls.
It may not be a bad thing finishing 6-10 . They have some good speedy forwards in there instead of the popular choice of the big guys Cozens and Dach - VANTEL
Well... technically that's correct for all the non playoff teams from 31ov to 15ov.... |

Is he a keeper? - Retinalz
Yes
Brady Keeper, a 21-year-old freshman with the University of Maine. With six goals and 15 points in 28 games, the 6’2” rearguard is tied for fourth in goals and tenth in points among freshman defencemen, though he’s a little older than your typical freshman.
Keeper has a rough-and-tumble aspect to his game, leading all freshman defencemen with 76 penalty minutes. The next closest has 47. Only one defencemen in the NCAA has more penalty minutes: Zach Frye with 78.
He has three misconduct penalties and a game misconduct this year, and many of his penalties are what you might call “aggressive” penalties, for interference, elbowing, and roughing. That aggressive side of his game was there in junior as well, as he had a whopping 202 penalty minutes in 58 MJHL games in 2015-16.
Keeper also has skill, however, and can rush the puck effectively. He was second among defencemen in points during his final season in the MJHL and was third in scoring among all players in the 2017 MJHL playoffs.
He’s been a key player for the University of Maine, where he’s averaging 2.43 shots per game and is a plus-12, for whatever value you assign to plus/minus. |

Canucks 5v5 shot share by minute. Bad first period, good second, terrible third.
Not getting of to good starts is troubling. Who holds the coaches and vets accountable? |

Looks quite enticing if his game can transfer to the NHL level. I like his 'aggressive' penalties. |
