i love how picking 6th is lucking out and not 1-3
Also I'm curious who everyone would take at 3? - neem55
26th overall and climbing!
On pace to pick 10th!

They need him to sell hope for next year
Team still sucks with EP/Boeser/Bo - Nucker101
No way. That's our Lemieux, Jagr, and Francis you're talking about.
Actually, I don't think they won a cup together. Oh poop. |

6th last is the realistic goal, basically guarantees a top 8 pick |

These guys aren’t why the team still sucks...
Hopefully the rebuild starts next year, and in 4 or 5 years we’ll only be 4 or 5 years away - 1970vintage
That's what keeps me interested.
Next year's slogan should be "Finally Rebuilding!" or "We're Building on Hope!" |

EDM finished 23rd overall last year and picked 10th.
I'm expecting something similar.

That gives them a chance to move up in the lottery, to 7th instead of normally moving down to 7th. |

If I was to describe JB's work to date, I would say he's drafted well and done some other stuff.

I highly doubt Woo makes the team as a 19 year old. Back to MJ for another year I think. - 1970vintage
I think he's got a better shot than Byram, personally. |

I think it will be "Bubble Team Baby", but I'm a little less negative than some when it comes to next year. |

Byram is hard to figure where he goes. I’m seeing a few teams in the top 4 going BPA & probably Philly going for top F available. Byram i think goes 4-6th. - Nighthawk
He reminds me too much of another left D for the Giants, Kevin Connauton. Similar stats albeit his draft year +1 |

I like Boldy, Zegras, Krebs, Turcotte and Seider and dont care which spot they go in.
Kakko is number 1 for me. |

I don't flag people often, but when I do they deserve it. But thanks for your insight on positive outlooks, you seem to be an expert and I always appreciate your wisdom. |

I really like both Kakko and Hughes, very different player types. I like Kakko, he kind of reminds me of Rantanen a bit. I like Hughes though, similar to his brother but a bit better at shooting. Either would be a huge, huge add for us. I do agree/think Kakko could end up better. |

Connauton doesn't have the skating ability/IQ that Byram does IMO, not even close. Byram is already superior to him in both of those respects. |

I really like him, can rip it decently but like I said I think his biggest thing is that Rantanen-like ability to power forward possession. Would be a pretty great wing for EP or Bo, Boeser would be in tough to stay on the first line longterm. I really do like everything I've seen from Hughes though and if he converts to wing I think he also brings some special qualities. Both would be grand salami's imo. I trust JB at this point , happy with either and going Switzerland this year. |

Ever the Neutral party in all historical scenarios, they never take sides. I'm neutral on Hughes and Kakko, is what I'm saying. I like them both a lot. |
