Doesnt matter how many more we win (likely only 5 more with our schedule), the one thing we do right is win lotto's. We can finish 17th and just 1 point out of the playoffs, we're winning it and taking Kakko.

That’s right....the 4x soon to be 5x champions of lotto hockey

Good day gents!

Would you guys take Kakko 1st over all if/when you win the draft lottery?

LeBrun has become my new favourite “insider”

He is the only person in the media who actually has a sane view on McDavid in his future here

Hughes is 5'10" 168lbs plays C.
Kakko is 6'2" 190lbs plays RW.

We are incredibly light on capable wingers. I take Kappo all day long. He would look brilliant next to the Dr.

As of July 1st, according to capfriendly, Russell's NMC becomes modified, and he can submit a list of 10 teams he can be traded to. And Sekeras can list 15 teams he can be traded to. There is hope!

Oil90 is almost exclusively seen in the Jersey thread. Kinda think the whole Hall thing is a bit of a sore spot with him.

Kakko would be a huge addition... I'm not 100% sure about Hughes

I don’t think so. Oil90 lacks the visceral snarl that Iggy brought.

I’m 100% sure that I wanna move the (frank)ing pick and Puljujarvi for a known roster player on a sweet heart deal.

And Russell too then, so we have salary room for that sweet heart deal guy.

If the pick is #3-5, I probably keep it. If it's in the range of #8-10 then I'm open to trading it but only for an awfully narrow subset of players. Think Nikolaj Ehlers is one of the few I'd entertain. Try to get Copp as a throw-in.

Other examples include Forsberg, Rakell and Kase. Zucker is probably acquirable sans the 2019 1st and would hence be my preference.

Zucker is over paid by about 2.5 million dollars.

Ehlers, Rakell, Johnson, Gourde, Trocheck, Atkinson, Forsberg, Gallagher and (maybe) Palmieri are all forwards I'd like to see in Oiler silks. Atkinson in particular intrigues me, what with Columbus perhaps going into rebuild mode if they miss the playoffs.

That would be a fun rebuild considering the lack of picks for the next couple of seasons....Duchene is a curse
