It'd be nice if on a game where we win, other teams in our playoff chase lose.

Indeed...but the main things is the Pens win too. Now the 2 teams behind them play each other tonight. No loser points please.

The Bolts' current goal differential is +90 hahah thats insane.

This got me interested in searching for the all time best goal differential in a season: the 1977 Canadiens +216, which is pretty crazy no doubt, but it was a much different league then.

Pens currently have 5th best in the league.

Not complaining about 2 points, but gonna need Washington to lose a few if we want to steal the 1st place spot.

I’m more concerned about matchups, but at this point there really are no good choices.

New Blog...

And avoiding Tampa Bay and Boston as a 1st and 2nd round matchup would be the good choice.

I think the Isles would be great. The way they’re finding success usually doesn’t sustain into the playoffs. In the past decade or so only two teams have won it all playing the way the Isles have been and that’s the B’s back when I was in high school and the Pens in 15/16, and I don’t think the Isles have anywhere close to the offensive fire power either of those two teams had. I’m liking the Isles in the long run now given what Trotz is doing and the fact that Barzal is a franchise super star center, but this is not their year.
