I'm a Q guy - I'll be one forever, given the 3 Cups (I know, Savvy, it woulda been 6 if he wasn't a dolt). That said, it was time for a change. Q's message got stale. The eye test says they're a better team now. And Q ain't coming back anyway.

I think only a college coach can keep his message fresh, only because they get a complete roster turnover every 4-5 years.

Really believe pro coaches have a shelf life unless they are willing to adapt to their players’ strengths. Loved Q, and will always respect the job he did here. But think it was time for him to move on.

I agree this game is far from over. Hawks have to keep pedal mashed to the floor board. How refreshing it is to watch games that are meaningful!

Stan might have well saved his job if this the real Perlini. Strome has looked terrific and now Perlini!! Damn, might go down as one of the best trades in the history of the Hawks. Not going to get worked up yet, but 2 big bodies with skill would be amazing going forward.
