Lately, he's the only reason to watch. Normally I don't mind watching young guys, but mcclod doesn't look great, no nico zacha bratt make a it hard to watch. At least you guys have chytil Anderson buch to watch. We have agostino gabriel Stafford. No way we don't out tank you this year

He just about is. I'd feel pretty good with Yak on the 3rd pairing with Carrick. Vatanen, Severson, Greene should be able to hold their own. Then the Butcher.. who I feel like would get passed by Yak, if he hasn't already, if Yak had more playing time.
Carrick has been a big surprise and a welcome addition. Where do we put Smith with that 6? Give him another year?? Santini is a fine 7th dman.

I’d agree and we end up using extra defenders anyway. Santini or Carrick is the 7th. I like Carrick’s game more.

And Mueller will be back most likely so add him to the mix.

Vats and Severson are our only good right handed shots. Although if we could get a very good offensive player for either you have to make the trade.

I'd be down to trade Butcher. I really think Yak is the better 2-way player. Butcher is also still developing, compared to Yak who's still adjusting to the NHL game. Maybe Butcher has some value? idk.

Butcher definitely has value, he is a good player. I'm not sure why you are so down on him. He plays on one of the worst teams in the league and is learning on the job while doing a good job.

Yak has very limited games and I hope the team decides to re-up because I'd like to see more from him. But he is still unproven. He's just had some good games when he's actually had playing time.

If we don’t get the top 2 the next 8 players all seem to be in same tier so it’s all about preference. Having said that I really want Byram or Cozens

Everyone seems big on Podkolzin at 3, not sure I feel the same way. If we miss on Kakko it would be real nice to get a 2C or another top 4 dman to go with Smith. Doesn’t look much like McLeod or Zacha are going to fill that 2C spot anytime soon.

unreal that we got Carrick back on that. He's been pretty good so far for what he is. Don't really know what Dallas was thinking. Lovejoy has already been a healthy scratch.

A 3rd for Lovejoy was an overpayment. To get a useful player back too was nuts.
