They'd basically have to start from scratch with that organization if they miss the playoffs.

Oh I agree. And now I think I can convinced they move one of Georgiev or Shesterkin.

I would like Hank to waive, but I guess he some what earned the right to stay. He should not complain tho since he can waive when ever he wants.

I still think he’ll have a heart to heart talk with himself about wanting to leave in the summer

I’m sure he looks in the mirror already and says god damn I’m a hot motha (frank)a!

He’s a mess, but I never question injuries. Kind of odd he’d elect to have it here. Wonder if we could try to get him for pennies on the dollar. I wouldn’t trade anything if significant value for him, but sign me up if we can a cheap lottery ticket

I dunno if I would trade just the Dal 2nd. He looked lost. Maybe his hips had something to do with it, but only a 2nd would be a stretch in my book

I'd imagine it has something to do with a specialist being located in NYC. I wouldn't read into that much.

Lucic, Puljujarvi and an unprotected 2019 1st for Dallas's 2nd and Namestnikov.

That’s an interesting trade. Normally Lucic would be a non starter, but that could easily be a top 10 pick. Hope he develop a jersey allergy

Hank was on spitting chiclets last week saying he wants to finish out his current contract and then hopes to play a few more years into his early 40s

Not trying to kill the vibe, but it wasn’t too long ago Buch was supposed to be the savior sniper, along with Andersson being a projected top 6 Center.

Buch seems to have woken up recently, Andersson is a hopeful project.

Chytil and Kravstov along with hopefully Shestyorkin are the future.

Not rushing any players, but this team needs to hit on their 1st pick with a shoot first winger

What’s the best? He gets adjusted to NA Hockey, lives near the city and teammates, slides in 2nd line minutes with PP time and gets confidence.

The worst: expansion draft protection, year of RFA lost. Dies via Mr. Slave with a hamster.

We constantly want to protect prospects at an early age, when they might be poop. I say (frank) it let’s see what we have in Kravstov.

Buch was a 3rd rd pick tho? Not sure on that. I highly doubt anyone thought he’d what we think Krav will be

The ELC thing is super important, it’s a tough call tho. I think if it was a Kreider situation when he came and we were a playoff team, I’d say let’s put him in right away but that isn’t the case. I’d rather give him Hartford games and a full training camp instead, then let him become a regular next year

I also think Center is a possibility in rd 1. You can never have enough of them

I meant to clarify not comparing Buch as a 3rd nd Kravstov as a 1st pick, but the fan base did its due diligence to rate Buch like he should’ve been taken in the 1st rd.

I’d rather give him just Hartford games too, but why is it such a big deal? He struggles his first 2 years and gets an under inflated bridge deal as an RFA?

The Rangers generally have tried to control RFAs in the cap era. Banking on Kravstov not reaching his potential until after that isn’t out of realm.

Yea that’s a good deal, wonder what buy out would be on Lucic. I’d imagine it’s pretty nasty
