I like the trade. I don't know a lot about petan other than he was a stud on the world juniors a few years ago, not sure what happened in the peg but we know the kid can play. Lindholm on the other hand was never going to be much on the leafs so not really giving up much, potentially it is a low risk, high reward trade

I like this deal. Two dimes for a quarter. It's minor, but we're going to need cheap wingers with upside from now on.
That said, I don't like that the largest hole in the lineup is still unaddressed. Maybe it is harder to trade junk defensemen than EA NHL has made it seem. I was hoping that (as much as I like him for PK and limited use) Hainsey would be shipped out just so Babschlong wouldn't have his toy anymore. I guess it's one more playoff series with him on the top pair  |
