Player and prospect would have been the absolute least I would have imagined. Player for player? I would have expected names like Josi, Ekholm, maybe Arvidson. Nashville gets a top 6 playmaker in the prime of his career, the Wild get an unproven prospect for all intents and purposes that is one year removed from a broken Femur. Nothing else. Wow. Like to hear what Leipold has to say about this. |

Poile won this trade in a landslide, even if Fiala matures into a 60-point player at some time in the future. The current value of Granlund is at least 3X over Fiala. Fiala is not a top-6 forward and Granlund certainly is. Wow. |

Fiala has a ton of potential but right now he's a turnover machine with the physicality of a marshmallow. He's also a RFA at the end of the year, whose personality would dictate he's probably going to want to get over-payed, and at this point in his career he's just not worth it. |
