Staal will not be moved today. It would take a ridiculous offer to get him out of Minnesota now. And Staal would leave, if he knew it was the Wild was getting a ton, as he would then probably just resign with the Wild next year.

No source, just basic logic. Wild need centers, even more so if Staal was traded away. Staal's 10 team NTC list was done to keep him here. Staal himself has said he wants to finish his career in Minnesota. Wouldn't be the first time a player was traded at the deadline, only to resign with the team that traded him, the next season.
