Todd Cordell: On the Ben Lovejoy trade

I wasn’t expecting Locejoy to be worth a third round pick. Getting that and a not horrible prospect is a great job by Ray Ray.

The market is trick. Zuccarello went for less then expected. Let’s see what Mojo goes for.... if he goes.

Outstanding job by Mueller and Gryba letting the Ranger skaters get between them and Cory. I feel like either these guys just remarkably blow at D or are really the lynchpin to the tank.

I like to think they’re professional tankers because the both have really good size and should be able to clear a crease.

When do we admit it’s not the defenders and replace Nessredine. Why does he have a job?

Now MOJO need a #1 or a #2 and a prospect or you resign him... Obviously we need skill. I dont have a problem with the devils D sucking but the offense should not at this point in the rebuild.

And get rid of KINKAID for a bag of pucks. make room for BLACKWOOD. let him learn....

Excellent job by Ray! And agree that Lovejoy was serviceable the last two years. A little tough on Mueller and Santini when they have had little pairing support, a defensive s CV hemem no one seems to understand, and an attack philosophy which by nits nature yields counterattacks. Still young and being asked to do too much.

His advanced stats don't look great but it could be more of a product of playing on injured Ducks teams the past couple of years. I'm not really sure what to make of it.

Last game of the season so hard to tell since it is the rags, but we suck so may go down....I am moving to England though and have season tickets, all depends when my transfer date is
