Georges Laraque was pretty damn tough for the Penguins... but he wasn't worth any contract like this.

As much as I hate the Flyers, I’m having a hard time finding any hate in my heart for Gritty. I’m pretty sure I just saw a clip of him streaking and being chased by security.

Those definitely have a place in hockey. I never liked going to the net but I loved playing with guys who did. That’s not the problem with 72, it’s when he’s constantly soft dumping pucks off the boards and it results in a turnover like 95% of the time. On the Schultz goal it was a controlled entry, a somewhat rare part of his game

I still really don’t like our breakout. It’s too predictable and we’re getting hemmed in. I’d like to see the odd flip which keeps the oppositions D and high guy honest which in turn creates more room down low. Everyone does it, just seems like a rare part of our game these days

Just got in from Mardi Gras parade... Is the Pens D still down to 4? Also, I vaguely remember Matt Cullen once played D in an NHL game a few years back... I would assume he's the emergency D...
