Carol Schram: Tied in the playoff race, Vancouver Canucks open homestand against Coyotes It's a veritable four-pointer at Rogers Arena on Thursday night as the Vancouver Canucks face off against the Arizona Coyotes while tied with them in the Western Conference standings.

Thanks Carol. Fantastic and unbiased blogs. I was really hard on Green, but he seems to get the boys motivated. The Canucks are rarely an easy out anymore... but can someone help me understand his loyalty to Pouliot, who in my view would have trouble cracking the Comets roster?

Thanks Carol! Arizona looks like a solid team despite worse injuries than us. Strome deal is looking like a terrible one though, might be Chaykas worse. That or Domi

Gaunce is more like Nick Dowd. The Beags is a league above both.

From the AHL to playing with one of the brightest Centers in the NHL

sounds about right for the canucks.

We love a good reclamation project. Especially if he has ties with the GM or HC!

Remember when people were concerned that Brock wouldn't sign out of University some years ago? Turned out to be nothing of course.

How long until we will hear rumblings of concern that Quinn Hughes won't sign (or resign) with the Canucks, because he'll want to play with his brother?

I can see Detroit winning the lottery, taking Jack Hughes and then rumours starting that Quinn wants to go home to play after his ELC is up.
