it one of the reasons I have my doubts about the guy.... you don't trade away a 2nd line center without a solid plan to replace him, he failed badly this year at this.

There was no upgrade there

So the plan was that Sheary, Berglund, Sobatka & Tage we’re gonna be the necessary upgrades we needed at forward

Sure, they were an upgrade over Jordan Nolan & Criscuolo & Griffith, etc etc etc
Just about anyone would’ve been

Obviously his plan for this season backfired in a pretty spectacular way

Then again... it’s year 2
And no one should’ve expected he’d have this team “fixed” by now

But that also doesn’t mean he doesn’t merit criticism for the bad moves he’s made

A bottom 6 C/LW is playing RW because of an injury. Let's not make too much out of it. I'm glad they are trying something different and keeping Sam with Mittelstadt.
