I wouldn't be so quick to get rid of Namestiknov. It just seems it's taken him a long time to get used to being here but it's finally clicking for him.

We have another Russian coming here next year, maybe even more than 1, and they are going to need to get used to being here too, a guy like Vlad in the locker room to help them with that transition could be invaluable.

While Vlad's numbers certainly were inflated by his line in Tampa, I think it was obvious to everyone he had skill. I still think he could be a 50-60 pt player.

That being said, despite Kravs being one of the focal points of the franchise going forward, I wouldn't have that be the sole reason of not trading him if we could get a big return. I just think think Names is going to be more valuable to us than other teams, so we will just hold onto him because all the returns will be underwhelming.

It's going to be the frustrating thing to a lot of fans about a hall of famer in his twilight. There will be nights like this and the ASG when he can still turn back the clock. Then in our next game he could give up a 5 spot.

Yeah he’s in a little bit of a rut along with the rest of our top 6 to a degree. Wondering if it his anything to do with not having a contract yet? Hoping they all snap out of it during the home stretch. Too bad there’s a zero% chance our teams will deal because Hayes would probably be a good add for our club...

I would not & I don't think they will. They will have to overpay & sign to a long term deal for that to happen. Makes more sense to trade for future draft picks & prospects and go after him July 1st.
