Not trying to argue with you, but in NO WAY can anyone in the league currently be compared to Tom Wilson. I think 99.5% of the entire fanbase of the NHL would agree that Wilson needs to be removed from hockey in it's entirety, meaning not even the AHL. His crap is always premediated and has intent. I think I get where you're going though and understand but poor choice of comparable IMO.

You look at someone like Marchand who seemingly looks for trouble and how many whacky acts did it take for him to get finally get suspended?

The NHL definitely handles upper echelon players differently. My gut tells me is they will probably make an example of Geno and give him one game even though I think he deserves two.

I would want it to be penalized, much like I said Raffl should have been penalized. And Wilson has a laundry list of suspensions and fines that backs up his on-ice character.

1) I actually like McCann, but the Pens are not going deep in the playoffs unless Bjugstad is the 3C.

2) Losing Maatta is going to hurt big time and with dmen being a commodity at the deadline this could be very costly to replace.

Where I'm going is if Tom Wilson cross checks a Flyer in the back and then immediately punches same guy to the back of the head which is a head shot, then most everyone wants a suspension including you.
