Team I watch the second most, no doubt. And if you think that Crosby and Guentzel don't torch us on a regular basis....I don't know what to tell you.
- jmatchett383

I know, the wink was trying to imply sarcasm. Crosby and whomever is on his wing always scores on us. Im flyers first, but i try to watch and enjoy all hockey teams. My second favorite team was probably the old jets. They had some fun teams to watch from early 80s to when they were forces to move.

They likely want him to get in a couple of practices first.

they are also winning, a couple practices and a lose and they hope they provide a boost.

I loved watching the Avs during their cup runs. Sakic, Forsberg, Deadmarsh, Roy, Foote just wow.

I just hated Claude...

F the Crybaby.

I am sending one of our service men tonight to the game. Hope the boys bring it for him. Even though he'll be happy just being there watching from seats behind Hart the first and third period.

Nice gesture, Dragon.

Also, you're right, today is not the day to respect Sidney. Despite his point total against us. Game day!!! Still enough season left if we lose, but I feel like a win will go a long way to strengthen our playoff hopes. Build confidence.

Keep it rolling!!

I was a big fan of the early 90s pens team with mario, stevens, recchi, coffey, barrasso, and francis. Those teams i had far more respect for than the teams of crosby/malkin. That doesnt mean i dont respect their talent, they just are different players and people.

I loved them and Detroit. Yzerman, Fedorov, Konstantinov, Shanahan, Osgood/Vernon, Lidstrom, etc.

Those 2 teams could beat you any way you liked, and every game between them was an absolute bloodbath combined with high-end skill. It's amazing that either of them was ever able to win a Cup after playing each other.

I have a hard time watching the other Metro teams. I'll watch any team from Canada for some reason. I like watching Preds because of Lavy. Can't stand the Cali teams. Blues vs. Blackhawks I'll tune into.

I ran into Claude at a casino the morning after Devils Stanley Cup win in 95. Never liked him as a player but just looking at his face, bruised, bloated, stitches, was just insane. He looked like he was hit by a car. Just gave me a new appreciation for playoff hockey and what these guys go through.

Yes those series were insane. Showed that hockey can still have a good rivalry even with the league trying to get fighting less of an occurrence. All it took was one cheap shot and it was on between those teams.

I hate to put that much emphasis on game #56 or whatever it is but I really think a win solidifies this streak. We have to knock off teams ahead of us and beating the Pens is always a big win. Thus far, I say yes. The "next biggest game" of the season will come in March and April.

Big two points tonight for the playoff push, hopefully they can continue the momentum and at least make it interesting.

If they win today and keep the streak rolling, the Stadium Series game could be for position in the division. That would make that game an insane atmosphere.

I like watching hockey. It's not teams anymore so much that I hate, it's more players. Marchand, Crosby, Malkin... mostly the guys who do dirty crap and get away with it.

From here on out i think it's more of winning after a loss and playing above .500 hockey. I don't think this solidifies anything about the streak, we've already won how many games out of our last 12? The streak has been solidified. Team might want this one a little more because it's the Pens but thats about it.

Love Tarasenko, so watch the Blues. Lavy and PK with the Preds. Canadiens and Toronto. Love Stamkos with TB (but have had it pointed out to me they are Rangers south).

Hell, look at the 2012 ECQF between us and the Penguins. The ratings were insane, it was the talk of the hockey world, and it was EXCITING. I don't think a lot of is what I'd call good hockey, especially the goaltending, but it was exciting, and the NHL loved it.

But yeah, let's not do that again...

I'd still say Boston and Toronto.

I think that, with Toronto, they may want to go all-in since they're likely losing one of their big young players (Kapanen or Nylander) this off-season. They may be willing to move a 1st (late 20s most likely) as well as an A- or B+ prospect or young roster player to get the deal done.

Boston is just one of those teams that won't die, but Chara isn't getting any younger, so they want want to load up as well.
