Canucks will only make he playoffs if they move vets but will only move vets if they are out of the playoffs.
We are all Canucks! - belcherbd
But we've done well with a balanced lineup, nothing about how kids are playing in Utica suggests we'd be better than with veterans. Either way, we aren't making the playoffs. I will happily take this bet if any are interested.

Then management would be bloody fools if they pulled one of Utica's best forwards in a desperate playoff race to come up and let him see what practicing with the Canucks is like. Why not then wait until after today's game instead?
I think you will find out this week Baertschi will be out for a while and Zack will get a look at . - VANTEL
Bear is done for the year.
So we agree.

I seen Sabbath around 72 in Montreal on the Expo grounds. Free ticket or gate crash , call it what you want - VANTEL
lol I was very fortunate to see Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio before he passed...what a treasure of a show. But have yet to see them with Ozzy and probably never will. Which is too bad.
If Benning was stealth tanking he would be going after more picks not "filling the age gap" or looking to make hockey trades. One thing he has proved is he and the draft team he has assembled can find talent throughout the draft and actually have a better record IMO later than with top picks. - belcherbd
the low threshold of his tank is not last in the league. that is all.
I loved Green's comments as he smirked about talking to the team about keeping the Flames trapped "in our zone the whole period until we tire them out."
Yeah good luck with the shootout win in the playoffs or the 3 on 3 victory earlier - flashfire
Speaking of which, you must be excited with so many proven playoff performers in the lineup. Just so many that have risen to the occasion of playoff hockey and really know what it takes. There's James Neal, and you've also got.... James Neal. But hey, he's a key cog right?

He won me over as the coach with that comment. - Marwood

We've done well because youth has arrived and Markstom against all odds has rediscovered why he was considered the best goalie prospect.
The vets have all regressed or always been unimpressive with the exception of Edler.
