I mean for the most part the habs are playing like a good team and appear resilient. Obviously there is alot of hockey to be played but in a league that awards ot losers point, gaining ground is difficult. Barring an injury there trajectory appears positive. They'll very likely either be playing Toronto or whoever is first in the metro.
