I hope we aren't actually interested in Silfverberg. I mean I like him but I'd rather upgrade the D |

They aren't touching the d. We all need to give up on that dream. |

If Schultz returns and stay's healthy, I'd role with Pettersson and Ruhwedel in the bottom pairing. Doesn't even cost them an asset.
Yeah, I know....it's a dream. |

We know the pens can do it. The Canada Trip and the past win streak before this terrible stretch of 10 games. They just need to either be consistent or hope we hit that win streak at the right time haha |

Getting Malkin and Schultz back will make a huge difference. Too bad we apparently lost Bjugstad. |

I actually didn’t think that Pettersson looked out of place with Letang last night. I hope that they stick with it for a few games because if that frees up Dumo, I’d like to see him with Schultz. |

Besides a 1st what could Pens offer? I can't see them trading for him. I would rather trade for Perry with a good chunk of salary retained or Kase (even with him being injured) or one of their defensemen. I'm not entirely sold on Silfverberg. I think none of those players really push us over the edge though. Someone like Stone from Ottawa I could see doing that for us (I dont think JR has enough magic left to make that happen), but not Silfverberg. |

I sure wouldn't give up our 1st RP for Silfverberg. No way. Could Perry re survive his career in Pittsburgh? I've always found him a pain in the ass to play against. I'd take his contract if Anaheim retained around 40% of his contract and if Hörnqvist went the other way. |

To clarify though if JR were going to go all in and was going winger I would be stoked if we got any of these players:
Dzingel, Zuccarello, Saad, or Kovalchuk with salary retained. I dont think Stone would be a realistic option and Silfverberg I feel wants a good raise after this season.
I am unsure where any of them would fit at wing unless someone was moved out |

That would be an awesome trade. I deep down would love Perry or Saad if pens were to trade Horny. |
