Anyone see Patrik Laine yet in the Buffalo game ? I noticed him briefly on one shift in the second.

Copp snipes one bar-down. Take a pic as it doesn't happen very often.

Perreault spends 1/4 of every shift knocked down on his ass. Scheif used to own that award a few years ago but Perreault now owns this award hands down. The TLC line hasn't been nearly as good since he replaced Copp ( except Copp is pretty good centering the fourth line). Perreault has heart, and tenacity but really isnt that skilled and definitely not a goal scorer. He is definitely expendable once Ehlers returns.

Buff still looks rusty out there.

4th line once again quite dominant. Jet's top line looking much better tonight.

Refs have made about three very marginal calls against the Jets.

Myers - Awesome and has been for quite some time
Little - Earning his money. After a slower offensive start, has been very consistent and the offense side of his game has steadily trended up

Not only are all the secondary pieces worse for us than the ones we’re trading off, Huberdeau is both A: a career winger whom has spent no time as a C at the NHL level, and B: worth way, way, way, way less than Laine.

Chevy is not stupid enough to do that. Especially if it’s for a rental. I fire Maurice long before trading the top prospect.

I hadn't heard that about Niku being requested in a potential deal but will agree the price would be too high on that one. Like I said, the trade capital was saved for a later date. I would like to hang on to Niku as well but you can see who the other teams value and who they want, like Niku, Roslovic. They are excellent prospects and other teams want them for good reason.

Roslovic, Vesalainen, and Niku are all no-toucheys.
Roslovic may actually be better than Connor if you feed him the opportunities Connor gets, Vesalainen is tracking to be better than Connor AND Ehlers (while also being the Wheeler replacement), and Niku is literally Toby Enstrom but taller

You realize copp and Shiefele are roommates and great friends to right? Copp is an excellent 4th line Center who’s making peanuts right now and won’t demand a huge raise. You don’t get rid of that. Getting rid of Trouba and Copp makes us worse not better so why do you want to make us worse? I thought you liked the Jets? I’m confused.
Did anyone notice some penalty killer ranking came out and not a single jet was on the list? I thought tanev was supposed to be some great penalty killer? Again, I’m confused.

They better not and morrow in over Niku is a ridiculous waste of presous development time for Niku. Chairot has also been tire fire lately!!!! Buff since coming back hasn’t been able to co we for his play. I’m tired of Chairot going for the hit only to give up the 2-1 and premier scoring chances

Trouba is now definitely third on the Jets defensive depth chart. I'd still say Buff is #1 because of his intimidation factor and ability to dominate a game. He's been a bit rusty since the injury but will be back in full swing in a few more games. Morrissey is definitely at least #2. I'd rank Trouba and Myers as equals as Myers is so much more versatile. Others will not.

I am liking Helle's game lately because I think he is zoning in. Aside from this game where he was very, very aware, he has been looking more and more confident in the previous bulk of games. I can't remember if it was the Habs game or before that but on breakways, he was standing up looking huge challenging for the shot.

Last year, he was exuded confidence and his game elevated. I think this poise of confidence was perhaps not as evident in the start of the year but Iam liking these last bulk of games.
