That is prejudice though and I've never believed an honest official should take things personally...suck it up buttercup. It's an emotional game and respect is a two way street. At the end of the day....a penalty is a penalty no matter what kinda yapping is going on...anything otherwise is favouritism and belongs somewhere else.

Well Hornqvust starts it all and never finishes poop so how is it favoritism? Turning around and putting a wet smelly glove in someone’s face should be met with fists in any reality. He’s literally the one to blame.

The opposite kinda officiating happens aswell....when players and coaches have too much respect from the officials and never get penalized...cough Tom Brady cough.

This is something I don't like about pro sports.mmots been around forever but I don't have to like it.

International hockey seems to be pretty impartial nowadays and is the closest I've seen to fair in all of sports.

He absolutely does not start every altercation...that is completely false. A lot.of those gloves to the face are a response to a cross-check while he was standing infront of the net.

That’s during the play. It’s seen as playing hockey, trying to clear the crease. Then the whistle blows and hirnqvist straps his set of balls on and Pushes people around. Fast forward and the games chippy as (frank) with Hornqvist being thrown around like a rag doll once again.

Yeah but JJ can’t really have an impact on the game. And Genos PP turnovers are such a burde. Oh wait. That’s right. Pens PP gave up a shorty without Geno and JJ was responsible a huge goal to take the lead.

To Grinder’s credit he doesn’t female dog about Malkin anymore. That’s the one thing he’s back tracked on.

I agree with you. I'm more upset the Pens don't have any D that put it to guys in front of the net like other teams do to Hornquist.

The Pens have to make a play on a legit second pairing LD. The really sad thing is that the Pens have actually invested money in their blueline but Maata and Johnson account for +$7m in dead space.

Pens have shown some resiliency the past few games and showed they can hang with the big boys last night despite missing major roster peices. Beat the big boys last week.

I believe in this team. Things are getting close to dire now and I think that's perfect for them. Pens players arnt stressing like the fans, that core has been in worse situations before and triumphed.

That's good..

I was thinking at the time he might of had the butt end of his/a stick jammed into his ribs/ armpit/chest area.... I did that once in the stomach with stick getting caught in boards straight on. It was extruciating.

Since the Pens aren’t going to skate circles around anyone anymore and are likely going to be pushed around by the teams they can skate with, think it’s possible to form a third line capable of playing against the other teams top line? Freeing up Crosby’s line for some favorable matchups and keeping Kessel off the (frank)ing third line for f uck sakes. It worked once.

I really hope the Pens can avoid the rotating door of injuries
