Good story. Thank you.

Did the league at least try to schedule most games close to home? Or as close as possible.
Kerry Fraser seemed to do a lot of Phi, Was and NJ/NY games.

Always a good story, Stewie! Those were the days when hockey had passion, and personality. Even the officials had personality....the good ones and not so good ones. Today, it’s a sterile, soft environment. No one says anything for fear of controversy, or the press using it, in context or not, to get a story. The teams won’t even disclose an obvious injury. And finally, forvtge worse, the nasty rivalries that existed are pretty much ho hum. Boy, I miss the good old glory days of the NHL!

One question: Do you think the quality and the consistency of the officials has deteriorated over the years? To me, they’ve been awful!
