The big bad orange crush tomorrow night, oh poop, it's not the 80's or 90's anymore. - LeftCoaster
My parents were at the game in the '70's when the Flyers were trying to fight people in the crowd and vice versa. My dad had a bruised hand from a hockey stick swung over the glass. |

Pettersson Boeser
Horvat Tarasenko
Throw in your “3rd wheel” wingers on each line. That looks pretty dangerous.
I’ve given up on Juolevi as an impact top pairing defender. I don’t think you will find a better winger in the draft this year. Tarasenko is on a pretty friendly contract.
I’d make that trade if it didn’t cost Hughes. - 1970vintage
That would give you two good lines but the defence is still poop, I'm greedy, I want it all. Like I said to Minivan, when this team starts to look like it did in 2009, it's time to trade your first rounder, not before. |

I hope he got a few licks in, or I'll be disappointed in him and consider him a wussy |

Maybe, maybe not.
Roster player, prospect, 1st round pick? Two prospects?
Goldobin (Russian in Russian out), Juolevi, Lind 2019 1st (unprotected)? - 1970vintage
Not a chance lol
Your offering a roster player the team is down on, a prospect who isn’t panning out, another prospect who is meh , and a protected first
They can get a much better offer |

They were a fun team to follow. I hated the Habs growing up so I cheered for the Flyers. They honestly were like the movie Slapshot.

I think it would be a good “hockey trade” |

I’d say the ‘19 first and Hughes is the only thing that would be too much. - 1970vintage
They would ask for one of Brock, Bo, EP |

I hope this team never ever trades their first rounder again unless they end up with multiply first rounders.
My dream is that Van drafts well enough that when players are ready, players are sold and Van will always have other peoples picks to toss around. |

As I said, I don't want to be a good team, I want the Canucks to ice a great (frank)in team. |

“Unprotected”
So exchange Lind for Dahlen, or Madden, or Gaudette or whoever you like.
If Canuck fans are suggesting it’s too much it can’t be that far off...
A good trade makes both sides uncomfortable. |

That is a love for Tarasenko I will NEVER see. - manvanfan
If van was drafting in the 15-20
That deal is more what I expect
Too much for van to give up |

That would defeat the purpose of the trade. |

A continual push from below would be nice, like when the Sedins came up and pushed a few people out the door. Those early 2000's teams were fun to watch!! |

Benning said on the radio he's not trading a single pick this year...thankfully. |

Ramblings, i'd be okay with Dante. Make it happen JB.
Ryan Biech of the Athletic: Looking at a couple young defensive prospects that the Canucks target in a trade: Dante Fabbro (Nashville), Roland McKeown (Carolina), Julius Honka (Dallas), and Lawrence Pilut (Buffalo). |

I read that, Fabbro is one young player I'd trade Juolevi for in a one for one deal. |

I've seen him play quite a bit for the Vee's. Lot's of people around here have been saying he won't sign and would like to come back to the west coast. Small town rumors. |

I think he had to punch a Flyer in the head to get him to release the choke-hold on the guy who sat behind my folks. I loved going to games in the '70's and early '80's! Tons of fighting! |
