I can see the Isles having some interest in Boyle as well |

SELL! SELL! Turn those machines back on and SELL!
-Mortimer Duke
If this team can get anything for KK and Lovejoy they should do it.
Brian Boyle should get them a decent pick or prospect. I'd think minimally a 3rd. Optimistically, maybe we could snag a 2nd, even if we have to send back something like a 4th.
Mojo is a tough call. Ray needs to speak with MoJo about the reality of resigning and then see if someone wants to give him a strong offer. I sure wouldn't move him to a team like the Sharks for a weak return. Plus, those guys extracted a hefty price from us on the Mirco Mueller trade. |

I cant imagine anyone thinking KK is needed for a playoff run. |

Then you don't know how bad the Sharks goaltending is. Which ironic, cause you live in said state where they play. |

Irony has nothing to do with it my dear friend. I don't care/follow LA sports. NJD all the way!
Sidenote on Hall though. He is glass man, was on the oilers. I knew it was only a matter of time before the injury bug catches up with him.
I'd trade Hall and build off that kings ransom. |

I'd rather resign mj unless they get something like a 2nd..hes one of like 3 or 4 forwards on this team that can put up a 50 point season( based on the past of course)hopefully he resign for same price and not more because he's not worth more imo |

It could honestly go either way. There are a ton of goalies potentially hitting the market this offseason. I think any team acquiring a goalie would be doing it 1) for a possible playoff run and 2) as an audition to possibly re-sign them. Goalies typically don’t fetch a ton in return either so it’s pretty low risk for the acquiring team
As far as the other thoughts, I agree that San Jose makes sense as a trade partner. I think Edmonton is a great trade partner. It looks like the Oilers really want to get away from Brandon Manning and Ryan Spooner. The Oilers aren’t in cap hell, but the situation is less than ideal. If they can move those two and then let Rattie walk in the offseason that opens up a lot of room for some reasonable depth signings and this is where I think there’s a fit. The Oilers say they’re content on D, but if the price on Lovejoy is alright and it costs them Benning and say a 3rd then I think they’re all for it all day.
The big connection I think is MoJo. MoJo at 50% retained I think is a good depth fit for the Oilers but they would love for Salary to go back the other way. I think a trade of Ryan Spooner, a 2nd, and a prospect for MoJo might make sense for both sides it just depends on the prospect.
I also agree that Boyle and MoJo to SJ make sense |

I wouldnt resign him simply because he is another injury prone player. Whenever he is out you a forced to fill his spot with a non roster player that will suck.

Dude you guys are in last place and he is a rental why wouldn’t you? Just like the Rangers when they traded you Grabner. Boyle is a depth player not a star who will come back to haunt you |

Technically Ottawa is in last place. But whatever. Yeah, trade anyone anywhere for the best return.

I meant in the division but yeah it would be stupid not to trade him to a division rival if it was a good return |
