Willie got 3 assists but he didn't even score

Also where are all those people who were super excited about Rielly? Well I got news for you, he's come back down to earth and barely has over a point a game.

The compound looks to be an RNase inhibitor (RNase is an enzyme that breaks down RNA) - the rest I'm guessing is a biological study of it's efficacy.

Definitely not my area of expertise though...

Leafs vs top 10 teams in the NHL (not including themselves obvy) - 11-5 - 113 point pace

Leafs vs other teams - 19-12-2 - 99 point pace.

That's interesting

Doesn't surprise me, leafs always play better against good teams and for whatever reason suck against teams they should easily beat.

I think it's maybe an effect of entitlement. They know they gotta work against the good teams, and then maybe subconsciously they work less hard and maybe cheat a bit more against bad teams.

Thing is that the difference between a good team and a bad team in the NHL is not much (except the Sens), and even Joe Schmo can burn you if you give him time and space.

Willie is fine helping get Kadri and Nicky Z out of their scoring slumps. He is just heating up and will be going full steam come playoffs

we'll know he's 100% back when he circles the o-zone 3 times by himself and scores lol. i call that move "pulling a willy". pulling a willy is fun.

Is this Mac Hollowell guy we drafted going to be a good RHD for us in the future? A bit small but hoping he turns into a Krug/Spurgeon type player.

Will be interesting to see how he does with the Marlies next year, assuming he makes the team.

Laine has the Cy Young Award locked up.

25-9

If Winnipeg makes the finals, I'm guessing he starts game #1.

Some of that makes me think the Leafs will be much harder to beat in the playoffs than anyone expects. They seem to be "Turning-it-on" with good teams and look sleepy with bad teams. That's not good, but I still think this team can get it done.

Love how a 7m per player gets a couple of assist and finally backchecks and people start creaming their little briefs.

It was his best game so far, good to see.
Can he at least repeat the effort, we'll see.
Im hopeful, cause leafs cant have an inconsistent 7m per player.

I think you could also look at it like the lesser teams "turning-it-on" against the Leafs, playing tighter, more physical, less space.

Having said that, it's been a perfect storm since the Xmas break:

- Andersen hurt, save percentage dips below .900 for a long stretch of games.
- Nylander/Matthews/Kadri all go cold (or never warm up, in Willy's case), can't buy a goal
- PP goes stone cold, never get enough opportunities to make it right either.

That's a lot of things to go wrong all at once.

I truly think the Leafs are far closer to a cup this year than majority believe. Those 3 centres will be very difficult to match-up with and beat.
