Good for him. It'd be nice if he turns into a legit NHLer. Too bad they lost though.

Most players that age turn into good/decent NHLers so we can only hope. Unless we use him as a trade asset in the near future.

As someone stated earlier he would be a poor man's Marner, and we will need those types of players moving forward after these upcoming contracts that will be signed.

Moore
Bracco
Grundstrom
Marchment

Will be our cheap forwards moving forward, unless some are involved in trades.

The Atlantic is getting more congested in the playoff race. The Bruins and Habs are right on our heels so every game is now magnified. A month ago, we thought that the Leafs were home and cooled out, finishing behind the Lightning. Buffalo and Florida are also on the periphery of the race and with a good push could also challenge for a spot. It's imperative that Dubas get a deal done for a top 4 defender, to make sure that we have home ice in the first round. Sooner the better.

Buffalo and Florida at 8 and 14 points behind the Leafs. Yeah, really close to striking distance. SMH

You clearly weren't paying attention last season.

Or the season before that.

In his post he had mentioned that he heard about it in previous seasons and not a peep this season.
